Kainoa is a Communications Associate at the American Economic Liberties Project. He previously interned at the digital news startup Courier, and a conservation group in Santiago, Chile.
A Sacramento, CA native, Kainoa studied economic history in the Social Studies program at Harvard College. He wrote his undergraduate thesis on the transformation of selective colleges into pipelines to the finance and consulting industries.
