Katie Hettinga is the Program Associate at the Rethink Trade initiative at the American Economic Liberties Project.
As a student, Katie championed campus civic engagement through positions in student government and the department of student involvement. As a legislative scholar, she conducted and presented research on the history of Idaho’s initiative and referendum laws.
She holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Idaho in Political Science and Agricultural Economics with an applied economics emphasis.
