Luis Fernando Chavez is a Policy Analyst at the American Economic Liberties Project, where he works with the Rethink Trade initiative on trade policy and economic power.
Before joining Economic Liberties, Luis served as a CHCI Public Policy Fellow in the office of Representative Jesús “Chuy” García, where he worked primarily on housing and agriculture policy. He previously worked in education policy and data analysis at Revolución Educativa and the Latinx Education Collaborative.
Luis holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Kansas in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in Intelligence Studies.
