Sarah Meyerhoff is a Senior Policy Analyst at the American Economic Liberties Project, focused on regulated monopoly utilities.Before joining Economic Liberties, Sarah served as an advisor to a Commissioner at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), with a portfolio that included electric, gas and water rate cases; data center tariffs and cost allocation; wildfire cost recovery; load forecasting; rate design and ratemaking mechanisms; energy efficiency and discount programs; and tribal engagement.
In previous roles, Sarah served as an analyst at the CPUC’s Public Advocates Office; worked on climate and energy research and writing for the California Energy Commission, GRID Alternatives, and the Sunrise Movement; and oversaw digital fundraising and advertising programs for federal campaigns including the Bernie 2020 campaign.
Sarah holds a Masters of Public Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College.
